Mobile ramp without support on the car body, RMFS series

The RMFS series mobile ramp is used for one-sided loading of a vehicle without relying on its body. The stability of the ramp is ensured by two supporting legs, and a rotating two-segment ramp is used to compensate for the distance between the ramp and the truck body. A guarantee of safe movement along the roadway of the ramp is the surface material, which provides reliable adhesion to the wheels of the forklift and a steel guard that prevents the forklift from leaving the ramp.
Application:
  • Warehouses and logistics centres
Advantages
Provides easy access for a lift truck to the car body.
Does not create additional load on the car body during operation.
Follows the movement of the vehicle body with articulated swivel ramps.
Execution with various types of drives makes it possible to use the ramp without power supply.

Don’t operate the ramp until its working zone is clear of people and goods.

Do not drive fork lift on the ramp unless the lip is securely on the truck bed and has a minimum of 250 mm overlap on its surface.

Don’t overload the ramp. The permissible load corresponds to the total weight of the fork lift with the load and the driver.

Don’t lift the mobile ramp with goods lying on it.

After the loading/unloading operations have been completed put the ramp into the stored position.

Don’t turn off the power from control unit during the whole loading/unloading cycle (for mobile ramps with hydraulic drive).

Don’t exceed the fork lift speed (not more than 5 km/hour).

Don’t drive the fork lift on the ramp until you are sure the lip is securely on the truck bed (for mobile ramps with hydraulic drive).

Make sure the WORK button is pressed, and the power switch of the control unit is ON during the whole loading/unloading cycle. Otherwise the hydraulic pump may be damaged (for mobile ramps with hydraulic drive).

Prior to operation take off the shipping fasteners. Attention! During loading/unloading operation the ramp with hydraulic drive and ramp with support on the trailer bed automatically follows the trailer bed height fluctuation. The ramp without support on the trailer bed has a lip which follows the truck bed movement (maximum deviation from the horizon is ±100 mm).

DoorHan mobile yard ramps can only be used with fork lifts having inflatable wheels. Don’t drive hydraulic trolleys and loaders with polyurethane wheels having high point load onto the ramp.

Additional Information print

All the DoorHan products are loaded with hydraulic crane or fork-lift truck with 2 m long forks. Customer or installer is recommended to use similar equipment. When lifting with crane or other lifting device use slings of corresponding lifting capacity.

Warranty print

DoorHan warrants the mobile yard ramp without truck bed support to operate properly for a period of 1 year from purchase date for retail orders and for 2 years from purchase date for dealer orders.
