Wind load resistance for SpeedRoll series doors is given for the door in the closed position. Gates are not used in places with unstable and increased wind loads caused by natural or man-made factors, such as:
- buildings located on sea coasts or in the mountains;
- multi-level heated underground parking lots with multiple entrances and exits;
- production with powerful supply and exhaust ventilation;
- in buildings of complex configuration with many gate openings, where strong drafts may occur. If one or more of the above factors are present, it is recommended to use a SpeedFold series door or a HSSD series spiral door.

To ensure reliable and uninterrupted operation of the gate, it is recommended to carry out regular technical inspection and maintenance.

Manual opening and closing of the gate is done using a crank.

Do not subject the gate to impacts or interfere with its free opening and closing.

Do not allow the PVC sheet guide to get dirty.

It is prohibited to stand in the opening while the gate is opening and closing to avoid injury.

Make sure that there are no foreign objects in the opening when opening and closing the gate.

For gates installed outside the building and used at temperatures below -15 °C, operation of the door leaf with windows is not allowed.

The self-healing function of the door leaf in the guides is used to operate the gate in emergency conditions, in the event of an unintentional collision with a vehicle; it is not intended to work when the door leaf is deliberately and systematically knocked out of the guides. The functionality of the function is ensured by the possibility of the “zipper”, installed on the door leaf from plastic guides, coming out. The functionality of the function cannot be ensured in the event of impacts that exceed the strength parameters of the individual components of the web and system elements. For example, in the event of a collision with a road surface at high speed, impacts with sharp objects, impacts on the top of the gate with raised forks of a forklift, etc.

The DoorHan concern loads gates onto trucks using a hydraulic crane or forklift with a fork of at least 2 m. The buyer or installer must provide the same equipment for moving the packaged gates. The plug should fit under the wooden pallet provided by the manufacturer and protrude from the other side. When using a crane or other lifting equipment, it is recommended that you use slings of adequate lifting capacity.

  1. All measurements are taken indoors. Each value must be measured at at least three points (in extreme positions and in the center).
  2. B – opening width (distance from the left edge to the right edge of the opening).
  3. H – opening height (distance from the floor to the top of the opening).
  4. h – lintel (distance from the top of the opening to the ceiling).
  5. b1/b2 – left/right lateral distance (distance from the corresponding edge of the opening to the obstacle).
  6. When measuring H and B, the largest value is taken as the final size; when measuring h, b1 and b2, the smallest value is taken.
